Resorts in Thailand are not all alike. We will show you the difference between a resort and just a nice place on the beach.

also called a beach resort in ThailandFinding a Resort in Thailand may not always be as easy as it sounds. When you consider that even resorts that are at built on the same beach & at the same time can differ greatly, you will understand how difficult it may be to make heads or tails about beach resorts in a far away Thailand. Compare the picture of the Siam Huts resort on the right to the images on another Lonely beach resort, (Strandhotel op Koh Chang for dutch readers) or better yet: the Pool Villas on Koh Chang, for instance. Complete opposites within a few minutes walk! It's safe to say that the term resorts is used in a liberal way, so we intend to help you, our visitor, by making the distinctions a bit more clear.

There is also the example of adopting the name of a nearby located busy tourist destination. Take for instance the Pattawia Resort & Spa Hua Hin which is actually located in the town called Pran Buri, about 30 km's South of Hua Hin.

Resorts in Thailand should be available within the EU in the next few months. If you have any suggestions for the Thailand Resorts team, are looking for an Bangkok airport pickup to Pattaya, Hua Hin or even Koh Chang or perfer to take the bus from Bangkok Airport to Koh Chang or those that have pictures of undiscovered places in Thailand, please e-mail us at info@resortthailand.eu

Remember that if you would happen to miss the ferry or speedboat from Trat to Koh Kood or speed boat from Koh Chang to Koh Kood that can take you to Ko Chang, Ko Kut, Ko Mak or Ko Wai, you are always welcome to spend a night in the basic, yet comfortable S.A. hotel in Trat or in the more spartan rooms at the mentioned speedboat from Trat company: Siriwhite Speedboat. Thai readers will enjoy two popular resorts on Koh Mak:  เกาะหมาก & รีสอร์ทเกาะหมา
